You need to start by going to the flights page. From the navigation menu, Flight Operations –> Flights

You can either search page by page or use the flight search on right side of the flights page.

You will have two options to place your bid. First one is by clicking the green marker icon. This is the best option. If it red, you have already placed a bid on that flight.

Once you have clicked on the green icon, your choice of aircraft will appear. You can chose any aircraft from that same sub fleet. Just a reminder not all aircraft in each sub fleet can make the flight. So chose aircraft that has capabilities for your flight.

We have selected the de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter for this flight. Once you have selected your aircraft. A popup message will appear. Click OK to continue.

Once you have confirmed your bid, you will automatically be taken to your bids page.

Your section option will be a little different, Once you have found your flight. You will click on the flight number link.

From the flight number page you will have a few options. If you are using vmsACARS you can click Load in vmsACARS and the open the app and load the flight plan for you. If using smartCARS 3, you just click the green Add Bid button on the right of the page.

Once clicked it will take to a popup that will ask you to confirm the bid.

Once you have clicked OK, you will be taken to your bids page.

You have successfully placed your bid.
